Purposeful office Design for a Healthcare Startup - 50 m²
Maxime de Campenaere Studio has designed an innovative workspace for a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the daily lives of healthcare professionals and their patients. The goal: to create a dynamic, flexible, and adaptable environment that meets the evolving needs of the team. This space seamlessly blends aesthetics, functionality, acoustic comfort, and ergonomics to offer an optimal work experience.
Inspired by the human body, the design features a natural color palette reminiscent of skin tones and organic shapes that harmonize with the start-up’s visual identity. The centerpiece, the name “Rosa,” is finely cut into an MDF partition wall, accentuated by soft indirect lighting. This refined composition reflects the start-up’s vision: to simplify and streamline interactions between caregivers and patients.
All the furniture has been custom-designed. The desks and meeting tables have modular forms, allowing them to be combined for collaborative spaces or separated for individual work. A meeting room, clad in glass paneling, visually expands the space by reflecting natural light and the panoramic view of the historic city. This glass panel also doubles as a writable board—perfect for team brainstorming sessions.
The layout also incorporates essential office amenities, including a coffee corner, refrigerator, and printer, all seamlessly integrated into the space. To complete the ambiance, acoustic panels made from preserved plants enhance sound comfort while introducing a natural element. These green islands create a soothing environment that fosters concentration and employee well-being.
